How do I join the Doherty band program?+
Incoming students sign up through their counselor during course registration. Marching band starts with summer band camp in July — email the board and we'll connect you with the directors.
What does it cost to participate?+
Program fees vary by ensemble. DIME's fundraising keeps student costs as low as possible, and scholarship support is available — no student is turned away for financial reasons.
Where does my donation go?+
Uniforms, instrument repair, competition entry fees, travel, clinicians, meals on long competition days, and equipment the school budget does not cover.
How can I volunteer?+
Pit crew, uniforms, chaperoning, concessions, photography, and event support. Visit the Volunteer page or email the board.
